Responsible for achieving AbbVie Immunology unit's sales targets in Algeria and delivering goals in a complex buying environment for every key business accounts (including sales vs.
competitor sales, sales conversion rates, activity targets, etc, )
Develop and execute a call plan that achieves set call metrics and optimizes coverage and frequency to key customers in order to maximize access and sales opportunities
Manage sales opportunities in complex selling environments where there are typically many people who can influence the buying process and final buying decision, different levels of management hierarchies involved and relatively long sales cycles
Consistently clarify who the buying influencers and decision-makers are and implement targeting and qualification for every complex account’s sales opportunities
Actively participate in Marketing Plan elaboration for the Brand, being fully responsible for its implementation in his / her territory (by giving insides from stakeholders needs and feedback from competitor’s strategy)
Continuously build understanding on customerneeds and expectations, territory market landscape, competitors, marketsegments / dynamics, accounts, disease, product, clinical and sales expertise andshare this market intelligence information with in-field team, brand team andsales manager to achieve alignment, to anticipate environmental changes andchallenges and to optimize brand strategy and its execution.
Actively Participate in promo materials’ testing campaign as required by Marketing
Provide consultancy to internal and external customers and Reach partner status at key customers
Developing and sustaining partnership’ relationships with all accounts in representative’s territory.
Monitor and report Pharmacist inventory level by product as requested
Maintain a high level of knowledge on both Abbvie and competitor products to assist in scientific and ethical positioning of product in a highly specialized field.
Grow Product knowledge by attendance at conferences and seminars,
Collect information from the market as condition changes, report competition activity to his sales manager.
Develop and manage detailed customer profile analysis and adjust strategies according to highest customer service level standards
Arrange promotional, opinion leader and educational meetings within accounts, as well as 1 : 1 customer contact in order to educate customers and promote product in its therapeutic area
More independence in managing customers
Develop short- and long-term strategies in the assigned territories
Immunology experience is a plus
Minimum of 2 to 3 years’ experience in Management of Hospital Products is preferred
Being based in Constantine, Algeria
Medical Bachelor's degree, biological sciences, pharmacy
Demonstrates in-depth scientific, therapeutic, product, and competitive knowledge and is recognized as an expert resource by all relevant stakeholders
Strong business acumen and proficient use of business tools; possesses strategic and critical thinking capabilities
Proven track record of success in sales performance within pharmaceutical industry, preferably in immunology.
Proactively identifies customer style / behavior and adapts quickly all aspects of selling approach.
Commercial pharmaceutical industry experiences such as physician / account based selling, training, managed health care or marketing preferred
Operates effectively in a matrix environment
