Direct responsibility for building your local GSG portfolio and elevating the presence of Citi and GSG within the country through disciplined calling and encouraging the outside Citi network to focus on your country
Working closely with product partner across ICG and Consumer to deliver one-Citi
Develop both professional and personal relationships to solidify relationships with clients
Capture all the GSG names that are present in your country
Key Responsibilities :
Manage and grow a challenging client portfolio that demands a range of Citi product solutions and credit knowledge
Build strong relationships with your client portfolio, enabling access to all levels of the client organization
Work closely with internal partners to develop innovative solutions to meet specific client needs. Implement and execute complex solutions and coordinate / lead deal teams
Understand, and effectively manage, Citi’s capabilities to increase and maximize the share of wallet. Originate new opportunities for cross-sell and safeguard existing client business
Assess credit and market risk of transactions
Manage the delivery of the network by providing a consistent coverage approach to these global clients by working closely with Global Banking parent coverage partners, providing network’ forums to facilitate communication, and ensuring product partner connectivity across ICG including GTS, FICC, Citi Work, etc.
Implement calling plans, call tracking, and joint pipeline reviews to ensure maximum deal origination is taking place across the entire client base
Market and execute deals using a coordinated approach to with relevant product partners
Understand the dynamics of the local financial markets, banking industry and regulatory environment
Know your competition and be able to provide critical input to win transactions
Manage client’s expectations and effectively engage in difficult discussions with clients
Analyse performance results interpret and adapt strategy to optimise services and financial performance

Knowledge / Experience :
In-depth understanding of Banking products : Loans, FX, Derivatives, Cash Management, Trade
Solid knowledge of Corporate and Structured Finance, Capital Markets & Advisory
Significant management / relationship coverage experience within banking or a financial services organization
Strong proven financial and business acumen
Proven knowledge of industry sectors
Knowledge of accounting, legal and compliance principles and procedures relating to the role
Strong leadership skills and commercial instincts
Ability to work within a matrix organisation and partner effectively with product partners and Banking colleagues
Strong communication skills (both written & verbal)
Strong presentation skills
Analytical skills : assimilating new information quickly and relating it to the needs of the clients
Quick learner and has the ability to apply new products or services quickly and effectively
Self motivated, highly ambitious and goal oriented with a track record of consistent revenue generation
MBA qualification or advanced business degree is highly advantageous (or equivalent experience)
Excellent business development and relationship management skills
Being a Credit Officer - a plus
