The role of the Cloud Specialist is to deepen our cloud across multiple cloud offerings, this role is accountable to drive all cloud solutions , particularly Modern Workplace cloud wins and customer adds and also partner with Account Executives, Specialists and technical specialists to accelerate opportunities / customer engagements.


  • Accountable to drive all cloud solutions , particularly Modern Workplace cloud wins and customer adds.
  • Partner with Account Executive, Specialists and technical specialists to accelerate opportunities / customer engagements
  • Strong focus on Partner engagement : Co-sell and Ip Co-sell Prioritized Partner
  • Build technical expertise, TSI and all learning certifications , always strive for more specialization in all solution areas :
  • Spend 2 hours per week on FRI and Complete all required Learning development courses & role-based achievements.
  • Engage with customers through value-add conversations by :
  • Leading with Microsoft 365 Suite on Security & Compliance, Teamwork, Power Platform, Firstline and Get Modern and drive upsell motion to drive revenue and customer adds.
  • Proactively hunt for new Azure workloads leveraging Daily Recommender to increase Azure pipeline to drive ACR and ACA
  • Effectively leverage Catalyst sales methodology, sales programs and offers and achieve Biz Apps customer Adds target.
  • Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years in Enterprise Selling - Direct Sales or Presales.
  • Must have competencies in cloud technology across multiple workloads.
  • Understands the partner ecosystem in Southern Africa
  • Able to sell solutions to C-level (engagement)
  • Product knowledge - ability to drive business solutions (dynamics, SAP, sales force or any of the buisness apps will be very useful)
  • Should have the ability to understand infrastructure as a workplace
